What to do when an adult face is breaking out?

I have been blessed with acne for a while.  When I was a teenager, I just didn't care about my face enough to wash it.  As I've gotten older, I've realized what an impact nice looking skin can have on your overall appearance.

That said, I have experienced success through 2 methods:
1. Proactiv.  It worked for Mandy Moore and it worked for me.  You buy the 3 piece kit and use it every day and every night and BAM.  Clear skin.  Bonus: it's cheap!
2. Bobbi Brown.  I always thought that because I have had acne issues, I have oily skin.  Not so say the ninjas of the Bobbi counter.  My skin is dry - that's why I break out.  Whatever.  Here is my current evening routine: (1) Wash face with BB Brightening Gentle Cream Cleanser using my Clarisonic.  (2) Apply BB Brightening Advanced Serum (1 pump). (3) Apply BB Extra Eye Repair Cream under and around the side of - you guessed it - my eyes. (4) In a departure (but still black and white), I use SkinCeuticals Renew Overnight Dry moisturizer on the rest of my face, neck, and chest - my facialist recommended it.
In the morning,  (1) Wash face with BB Brightening Gentle Cream Cleanser (just hands, no Clarisonic) (2) Apply BB Extra Eye Repair Cream under and around the side of my eyes. (3) Murad Essential C for all over face.

If I were currently having problems, I would consider the Murad System.  I've had a lot of luck with their products.  A 30 day supply is just $30.
